This workshop offers an introduction to qualitative research methods, with a particular focus on ethnographic fieldwork and multi-sited ethnography. Drawing on her own empirical research, Dr Bärnreuther will reflect on how ethnographic approaches can be employed to study In Vitro Fertilization.
Sandra Bärnreuther is an assistant professor at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Lucerne in Switzerland. Her research focuses on science, medicine, and digital technologies.
