About the Event
In this exciting pre conference SRIP ECR workshop, we host the creator of the Birth Satisfaction Scale-Revised (BSS-R) - the charismatic Professor Colin Martin - Clinical Director of the Institute of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Surrey, Chartered Health Psychologist and Chartered Scientist, as well as the prolific author of over 300 research papers and chapters and 30 written or edited books.
In addition to being a psychologist, he also trained in analytical biochemistry, which influenced his psychobiological approach to mental health. Colin is coming to explain to the group how the Birth Satisfaction Scale-Revised (BSS-R) was devised and the 'funny' background story to its 'birth' as one of the most widely recognised and frequently used short, valid and reliable measures of birth experience worldwide.
