Nicola Carone, PhD, is a psychotherapist and associate professor of Dynamic Psychology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy). His research focuses on parenting, attachment, and child development in diverse family forms (e.g., LGBTQ+, formed through assisted reproduction, single-parent families by choice). Dr. Carone is Membership Secretary of the Society for Reproductive and Infant Psychology (SRIP), and Vice-President and Treasurer of the Society for Emotion and Attachment Studies (SEAS). In 2020, he joined the National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study (NLLFS) research group led by Dr. N. K. Gartrell.
